Hey guys! So guess what? Next Saturday, I am running a 5K! Its my second one, and I plan on it being a whole of a lot better than my last one. Ok, I am gonna splurge with you people. I did my last 5K in 39 Minutes, and 53 Seconds. If you don’t know, that is just horrible. Particularly for someone of my age, which is 14. But I have been training a lot better now.
I have been running about 2 miles every day, so that when I do run, I won't have to work through anything. I have also been doing breathing exercises, as well as some cool yoga. I am actually really excited to get to the 5K. I am actually pretty happy that its gonna be relatively flat. The last one I did, It was hilly like you wouldn’t believe. I mean, the name of the town that I did it in, was called ‘Windsor Heights’. Either its a slum, (and its not), or its really freaking hilly. I think there was an altitude shift of like 100 feet!
Anyway, I have decided I am going to run the Hyvee IronKids Triathlon in September here. Its pretty nice. Its a 2 mile run, 8 mile ride, and a 300 yard swim. Next year I am going to do the Sprint one. Its basically the lowest of the four levels, but it still isn’t a walk in the rose garden. Anyway, I suppose I had better be wrapping this up. I guess todays word could be ‘Fitness’. So go out there, and do a 5K everyone!!!! =^ )
